New Scout Hall
The existing committee has been working hard to push forward with a refurbishment of the existing hall. Due to time constraints and lack of technical skills, a decision was taken to employ a project manager, who then tendered for architectural services. With an architect on board, it quickly became apparent that the building is in an even worse state of repair than first thought and a refurbishment would be an expensive, short-term 'stop gap' and could end up being a very expensive waste of funds..
The committee has since been working with the project manager and architect to scope out demolishing the existing building and erecting a new Scout Hall in the space. Click on the tab to the left to see DRAFT drawings of the proposed new hall.
