Kit list For Hostel

The following should be brought to camp packed

(Please do not over Pack for your Scouts as they do have to carry it them selves as the leaders will have their own and exrta to carrie)

Get your Scout to have a go of carring once packed

 Large rucksack, is need as we need to walk to and from the train 

Small day sack ( Will be used to carrier food, game for the train)

Waterproof jacket

Waterproof trousers

Warm jacket

Outdoor boots ( not Wellies as we will Be walking alot ) 

Hand towel / Towel for swimming

Wash kit

Plastic drinking bottle ( this will be filled each time we go out )

Underwear x 3

Pyjamas x 1

Gloves/Hat

Trousers x2  (Not jeans)

Jumpers x 2

T-shirts x 3

Socks x 3

Swimming trunks

Small torch

Maximum of £5.00  in a wallet with their name on it ( They will Have to look after this them selves)

The following are items not allowed:

No aerosols of any kind

Pen knives/Swiss Army knives

Games consoles (hand held or otherwise)

Mobile telephones (if there is a problem we will contact you)

Any kind of toy which could cause damage,

CD/Radio/Cassette/MP3 Players

They can live with out them and all will be taken off them if arrive

with them.

Useful information

If your son has medicine which he needs to take then please hand this to Scott clearly labelled with their name and dosage required on arrival at Train Station  on Friday. (Details will already be noted on the medical form)

As far as possible, please label your son's belongings, its amazing how many of the Scouts going will all have the same T-shirt etc!
